The pizza is good, but that's about it. We also ordered Rigatoni al Forno and Rigatoni Quattro Formaggi. When we picked it up, we found that both dishes were prepared with pennette. Apart from the wrong choice of pasta, the sauces of the two dishes are equivalent to kebab house quality. The pasta was so overcooked that it crumbled when you forked it up. The Rigatoni al Forno also contained potatoes, which is not common in and of itself and the dish was generally completely seasoned, everything tasted only spicy and like pepper. When I go to an Italian restaurant, I expect quality that I would never match at home. Prices are good, service very nice.

The pizzas are excellent! The desserts were delicious too. Sometimes you have to wait a bit for the pizza, as a lot of people get pizza there, but it is worth the wait.

Always like a little trip to Italy. The friendly Da Mario brings cosiness. The daily changing menu always surprises with great, creative dishes at a very high level and leaves nothing to be desired. The normal menu contains the well-known classics, which are also good and very fair in price. All in all a great Italian in beautiful Altötting.

Pizza and pasta very good, prices for food and drinks reasonable. Decoration looks a bit mixed up. Unfortunately we (7 people) had to wait almost exactly an hour for the meal (the place was well filled).

We were at Da Mario at noon and are thrilled. Friendly and attentive staff, good ambience with a family atmosphere, menu and a written on blackboard day card, which was explained by the boss - everything fits! Our drinks and food (4x Pizza) came quickly and it was inquired if it tasted. The pizzas were very good. Fresh toppings (fresh tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, etc.) thin, not soaked ground with crispy, loose rim and very well seasoned. All pizzas came hot to the table. Positive It is still to be noted that every pizza was a very good cutting knife and therefore the non-precut pizza was good to eat. At Da Mario we found "our" pizzeria and reserved a table for our birthday at the end of the week. We look forward to a nice evening. What should one say? The birthday dinner at DA MARIO was great! This time we ventured on the "Tafelkarte", which was explained to us very amusing and very informative by Chef Mario. Our choice fell on the homemade pasta (spaghetti and tortellino) and our youngest ordered again the Pizza Diavolo. As a starter, a community antipasti was ordered. With the wine we got advice from Mario and got a really good red. In addition there was water without being asked. The antipasti were fresh and very well prepared. A little later, the food came and it was quiet at the table. The food was just too good to talk to much. The homemade pasta and all the other ingredients were excellent. The spaghetti with calamari and scampi were as well as the tortellino with mushroom filling star cuisine level. All dishes were very good and tastefully presented. We ordered a grappa and left here again Mario Chef the selection. We got a wonderfully mild Grappa barrique with an elegant character. Because we were very tired, we decided to take a dessert together for everyone, but Mario, his wife and the team took the decision between Tiramisu and Tartufo, because our birthday child was played a song and a dessert for all served. Tiramisu with fruits and a wonderfully fluffy and still hot chocolate muffin. Even with the dessert was obviously everything fresh and homemade. Since Mario's wife came to the table to congratulate us, we assume that the lady of the house was the originator of the dessert and would like to thank us very much. A successful evening !! We will be back! Mille Grazie !!!
